I’ve seen similar picture quotes concerning this title a number of times and I’ve also decided to air my views on it.
Getting a job these days is not only as a result of good academic qualifications. Some people are knowledgeable when it comes to education but are average when it comes to hands on experience and vice versa.
Everyone is going to school because they want to be educated or because their parents forced them or because their friends are in school. That’s okay but remember, not everything is taught in school. There are lots of free online courses to build your skills.
You can be intelligent in all subject areas but lack morals, good attitude, respect, humility. These virtues can take you farther than your education. I’m not saying education is not important. It is and when you have these virtues, you’re good to go. Don’t let anyone discourage you. The fact that you’re an average student and always having bad grades doesn’t mean you can’t be successful in other areas of your life.
There’s something you’re good at; find it, focus on it, work towards it and make good use of it only if it’s a positive one. Remember, success comes only when you have a positive mind to do what you really want to do.
