“Mama, I made it. Daddy, I made it!!”
The most common phrase that graduates use.
It’s that time of the year again and a hearty congratulations to all graduands and graduates. Graduation marks the end of a chapter and the beginning of another. It’s now time to show the world what you’ve got. You’re done with the theory. It’s now time to apply what you know. There’s happiness in working but greater happiness in achieving good results when you apply your knowledge to your work. Are you ready to make an impact or you just want the certificate for everyone to know that you’ve bagged a degree? Do not waste the knowledge you gained in school. Try to make good use of it. Help someone with your knowledge. A lot of people are looking up to you to see what you can do. Don’t disappoint them. Imagine the amount of fees you paid for 4 years. If you didn’t have the opportunity to go to university and that amount is in your bank account, how are you going to use it? Will you give it out to someone who needs it to pay fees or you’ll use it for something that won’t yield any positive result to you? Think about it. Your parents or guardians have done so much for you. Please don’t disappoint them. Let them know that they really invested in you and you’re making them proud.

Now to those who won’t have the chance to graduate, it isn’t the end of the world. THERE’S NO POINT IN COMMITTING SUICIDE. You have a chance to do something with your brain and hands. Be innovative and creative. Do something positive to keep you busy. Don’t rush things to be at par with your mates who have graduated. It’s their time. Yours will come soon. Just be consistent in your daily activities and I assure you that everything will fall in place very soon.
